What is somewhat un-nerving about this article is that they are not talking about non-IT employees, but the IT security-related employees themselves! We are all aware of the need for IT security awareness to the entire organization, but if those who are responsible for such activity are not themselves aware...
I decided to post this article here at ICTTF because this should cause concern as an 'intl. cyber threat.' This 'non-awareness' of attacks (and their results) against govt., corp. espionage and a nations infrastructure/economy/security could be very much at risk. As the quote from the article below says...
"Although a substantial portion of survey respondents claimed to be close to IT security functions, "there is a huge number that don't know or are unsure about ,"... (emphasis mine)
